Pilot Career Manager

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 11 July 2026

Pilot Career Manager (“the app”) is a local-first, offline application for desktop (Windows, macOS, Linux) and mobile (iPhone and iPad). Your data stays on your device. This policy explains what that means in practice.

Data we collect

None. The app has no user accounts, no analytics, and no telemetry. We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal information or logbook data. We do not use tracking, advertising identifiers, or third-party SDKs that collect data.

Where your data lives

All of your data — flights, aircraft, pilot profile, certificates, endorsements, employment history, backups, exports, and settings — is stored in a local vault (a folder of files, including a SQLite database) on your own device. It is never uploaded anywhere by the app.

Exports you create (CSV, JSON, PDF) are written to a location you choose — or, on mobile, shared through the standard iOS share sheet / Files app — and are likewise never transmitted by the app.

Network access

The app is designed to work fully offline. It makes network connections only in these limited, non-tracking cases:

The app does not load remote ads, remote fonts, or third-party trackers.

Crash logs

If the app encounters an unexpected error, it may write a diagnostic log to your device’s standard application-log folder on your device. These logs are not transmitted anywhere; they exist only to help you (or a maintainer you choose to share them with) diagnose a problem.

Children’s privacy

The app is a professional aviation tool and is not directed at children. It collects no data from anyone.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published here with a new “Last updated” date.
