Support

We read every report and typically respond within a few days.

The best way to get help, report a bug, or request a feature is to open an issue on our public tracker. You’ll get a response there and can follow along as it’s worked on.

When reporting a problem, it helps to include your device (e.g. iPhone 15, iPad Mini 6), the iOS/app version, and the steps that led to the issue. Because your logbook data never leaves your device, we can’t see it — so a clear description is the fastest path to a fix.

Frequently asked questions

Where is my logbook stored?

On iPhone and iPad, your data lives in a PilotVault folder inside the app, visible in the Files app under “On My iPhone/iPad → Pilot Career Manager.” On desktop, you choose the folder. Nothing is uploaded anywhere. See the privacy policy for details.

How do I back up my data?

The app can create a backup inside your vault, and because the vault is a normal folder of files you can also copy it out through the Files app (on iOS) or your file manager (on desktop) to iCloud Drive, a computer, or an external drive.

Can I move my logbook between devices?

Yes. The vault is portable — copy the folder to another device and open it there. The app does not sync automatically; you are always in control of where your data goes.

Can I import my existing logbook?

Yes. The app imports from ForeFlight, MyFlightbook, and generic CSV files, with a manual column-mapping step for other formats.

Is my data ever sent to a server?

No. There are no accounts and no cloud. The app has no analytics or telemetry. See the privacy policy.
